She completed her compulsory training with the Ministry of Health in Penang and later, Ampang Hospital. Having worked at health screening centres and various primary care clinics in the Klang Valley, she is a firm believer that a healthy body (and mind) is one’s best asset, especially since we have all lived through a recent calamitous pandemic.
A special interest in Skin Diseases led her to take up a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology with the University of South Wales in 2018, for which she was awarded with Distinction. Past experience working at a sexual health clinic in Petaling Jaya had also given her professional knowledge in managing patients with Sexually Transmitted Infections. Dr. Teh is an honorary HIV Connect GP endorsed by the Malaysian AIDS Foundation. She firmly believes that healthcare should be inclusive and accessible to patients from all walks of life, irrespective of age, race, gender and sexual orientation.
